The Monolith Visa® Debit Card is currently available in the UK, all 30 countries of the European Economic Area, as well as a number of Special Member State Territories. The card uses either GBP (£) or EUR (€), and fees vary according to the service. To understand the fees associated with using the card, visit our pricing page.
Please note we currently provide either GBP (£) or EUR (€) based cards. Fees are charged relative to the card’s base currency. When using a Euro-based card, any transaction in a country using the Euro counts as domestic. For countries that don’t use GBP or EUR, please note that you may incur extra charges.

There are also some spending and withdrawal limits applied to the cards:
- Daily general spend limit: £7500 / 8000€
- Daily purchase limit: £7150 / 7600€
- Daily ATM/cash withdrawal: £350 / 350 €
- Card max balance: £7500 / 8000€
What is the Licensing Fee?
The licensing fee is a community contribution: it belongs to TKN holders. Every time one of our users top-up their card with any token other than TKN, a 1% licensing fee is charged and sent to the asset contract: it's a smart contract that grows through the proliferation and usage of the Monolith Visa® debit card.
TKN holders can claim their share of the Asset Contract at any time using Cash & Burn.
